The Perils of Dial-Up
I’m at my sister’s house in Phoenix and she has a - gasp! - dial-up connection! Not only that, but the highest speed I can get with it is 26.4 Kbps. It’s like the dark ages.
With some luck I’ll find a higher-speed alternative that will allow me to properly update, but if that doesn’t wind up being the case then don’t fret because I’ll be back on the East Coast soon enough.
