I know that slow news days require some healthy stretches by reporters, but occasionally things get ridiculous. Exhibit A: an article about what amounts to a typo in a ticket. See, the headline suggests that a guy was given an $11,000 traffic ticket but, spoiler alert!, it turns out that it was a $110.00 traffic ticket but he just didn’t notice the decimal point.
What, you may be asking, is exhibit B? Well, it’s a web site that writes a post about the non-news story about the guy who didn’t notice a decimal point. I’ll bet you didn’t see that coming!
